About Rebecca Sculley Counseling, LTD

Rebecca is a psychotherapist committed to helping people through the complexities of life.

Rebecca believes that the therapeutic relationship is a collaboration between therapist and client. It’s about working as a team to discover the root of a problem or feeling, exploring it and healing from within. Rebecca excels at helping people find the motivation they need to make the changes they want! Her experience has been that all people regardless of age, race, class, religion and gender may grow and heal from seeing a therapist.

Rebecca’s therapeutic practice focuses on working with adults and young adults. She is trained in and has led groups in Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT combines standard cognitive-behavioral techniques for emotion regulation and reality-testing with concepts of distress tolerance, acceptance, and mindful awareness largely derived from Buddhist meditative practice. Her experience and extended training also includes doing play therapy with children and their families.

Rebecca specializes in helping people to navigate the aftermath of narcissistic abuse and toxic relationships. This can feel overwhelming, and you may feel isolated in this. Rebecca provides a safe and validating space for you to heal from the pain, confusion, and self-doubt that often come with these experiences. My approach focuses on helping you reclaim your sense of self, rebuild your confidence, and establish healthy boundaries. Together, we'll work to process the trauma, understand the dynamics of these relationships, and develop the tools you need to move forward and cultivate healthier, more fulfilling connections. We will unpack they love bombing, gaslighting and discarding that you may have experienced. You deserve to feel empowered, whole, and at peace.

Rebecca is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. Her credentials include being a Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education with an emphasis in Couple and Family Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver.

Rebecca maintains professional memberships in the American Counseling Association and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Rebecca’s philosophy of mental health is that it exists on a continuum, one that includes the mind, body, and spirit, each deeply connected to the others. To heal one realm you must heal the others. Through the counseling journey you can discover ways to connect all three aspects of your self; helping you to feel more balanced, present and centered.
